WHAT are these scholarships?
The SCCC Foundation offers a variety of scholarships for full-time and part-time students, based on the following criteria:

  • Academic performance
  • Degree program
  • Career goals
  • Personal interests
  • and/or financial need

These scholarships are specifically reserved for students who have been enrolled in at least one semester at SCCC.

WHAT scholarships are available?
See below for a list of scholarships available, organized by program.When you apply through https://sunysccc.starsscholarshipsonline.com, you will be able to access more details on the scholarships available to you. Every student will be able to access every available scholarship after February 10, 2016.

WHEN do I apply?
The scholarship application process for current SCCC students will open on Wednesday, February 10th and closes on Friday, March 18th. There will be no exceptions to this deadline.

HOW do I apply?
Log on to https://sunysccc.starsscholarshipsonline.com/ using your MySCCC Portal credentials, fill out a short survey and find out which scholarships will work best for you!

You will be asked for your contact information, your academic information, and about 25 questions that we use to match you with the best scholarships for you. Log on to get started today!

UPCOMING EVENTS

Thursday, May 19th
HONORS CONVOCATION, 9:00am-12:30pm in Taylor Auditorium
This is a celebration of scholarship recipients! From 9:00-11:15 we recognize each scholarship recipient in a brief program - students are called to walk across stage and receive their award. Following the program, recipients and donors are invited to convene in the student commons area for a light reception. This is a great opportunity for students and donors to meet and get to know one another. Attendance is mandatory for scholarship recipients; invitations will be sent out mid-April to donors and students.
